Perhaps you’ve finished the first draft of your crime novel; maybe you’re still wrestling with the plot. Whatever stage you’ve reached, bring your murderous thoughts to the idyllic setting of Tŷ Newydd. Each morning we’ll tackle a different topic, followed by afternoons of one-to-one tutorials and scheduled time to put pen to paper. From creating authentic police characters to finessing your ‘bad guys’, from researching historical or current settings, to planting red herrings and pulling the rug from beneath your readers’ feet, this course will give you the tools you need to take your work-in-progress to the next level.
