Ifan Morgan Jones is a lecturer in Journalism in Bangor University’s Department of Creative Studies and Media. He has worked as deputy editor for the Welsh magazine Golwg and as an editor of the news website Golwg 360. His novel Igam Ogam won the Daniel Owen Memorial Prize in the National Eisteddfod in 2008. He published his fantasy novel Dadeni in 2017 and the first steampunk novel in Welsh, Babel in 2019. All his work is published by Y Lolfa. He was the adjudicator on fantasy literature competitions in Eisteddfod Genedlaethol, he also established Nation.cymru, which is a new independent Welsh news website which seeks to fill a gap in providing impartial news in Wales.
