Huw Aaron is an illustrator and a cartoonist, well-known amongs young readers in Wales for books including Find The Dragon, The Builders, and A am Anghenfil. He has illustrated several picture books for other writers too, and Huw was responsible for editing and creating much of the popular comic, Mellten. Huw also regularly contributes cartoons to publications including Private Eye, The Oldie and the Spectator.

Huw Aaron

Luned Aaron
Luned Aaron is an artist and an author. Her first picture book was published by Gwasg Carreg Gwalch in 2016, and it won the Tir na n-Og Prize for Welsh children’s literature in 2017. That book was followed by three further books in the Byd Natur (nature) series, and also Nadolig yn y Cartref and Mae’r Cyfan i Ti. With Huw, she has co-created the books Nos Da Tanwen a Twm, Pam? and Dwi Eisiau Bod yn Ddeinosor.
Both Huw and Luned’s work is published by a variety of publishers including Atebol, Gwasg Carreg Gwalch and Y Lolfa. Huw and Luned have also established their own publishing company for children’s literature, Llyfrau Brog Books, having published the Welsh Wonders series of biographies, YA graphic novels and the popular Seren a Sbarc series. They enjoy the process of tutoring other writers and artists in Wales, and they are always in search of new ideas.
