Digital Taster Course: Writing for Children
This is a Welsh-language course that looks at the art of writing for children. In a presentation over lunch, this will be an opportunity to look at characters, themes and what makes children’s stories unique. There will also be an opportunity to discuss how to pitch your story to a publishing press.
The Tŷ Newydd taster courses series will offer a whistle-stop tour of various genres and themes in both English and Welsh, to continue to inspire your writing during the winter months. Participant numbers for each taster course will be capped at 20, and the course will be delivered through the video platform Zoom. We hope to welcome you to Tŷ Newydd Writing Centre when we reopen our doors in the spring, where we offer a programme of day-long, weekend and week-long residential courses at our beautiful house in Llanystumdwy.
The course will run between 12.00 – 1.30 pm.
