Julia Forster is the author of two books – a non-fiction book called Muses: Revealing the Nature of Inspiration (Kamera Books, 2007) and a coming-of-age novel set in 1988, What a Way to Go (Atlantic Books, 2017). She has worked in publishing and writer development for twenty years and she currently runs the marketing and publicity department for the literary magazine New Welsh Review where she also coordinates the New Welsh Writing Awards. She is a reader/mentor for The Literary Consultancy and works as an associate for Ruth Killick Publicity. She does freelance PR for independent publishers and runs author career workshops. Julia has just finished a six-year stint on the Literature Wales bursary panel where she helped to award grants to both emerging and established authors. In 2016, she was awarded a K Blundell Trust Award from the Society of Authors to write her third book.
