Bethan Gwanas has authored more than 30 books for children and for adults. She is an experienced creative writing tutor, a tutor of Welsh for adults in Dolgellau and an occasional TV presenter. Bethan has won many awards for her children’s literature, and was shortlisted for Wales Book of the Year in 2005 with Hi yw Fy Ffrind (Y Lolfa). She has written a number of plays, and a TV drama series was broadcast on S4C for many years based on her novel Amdani! (Y Lolfa) She has written a weekly column for the Herald Gymraeg in the Daily Post for 15 years. She’s the creator of Blodwen Jones, a character in three novels for learners, and she’s currently working on a Blodwen Jones musical.

Lleucu Roberts is a novelist, scriptwriter and a translator. She has won many prizes for her literature, including the Tir na n-Og prize for children's literature, the Daniel Owen Memorial Prize and the Prose Medal at the National Eisteddfod.
